Dear friends,
If you believe that the new

JNU Ambulance
should be dedicated to the memory of

Aishvarya

(whose sad demise, due to unavailability of in-time medical aid, united all of us in getting a well equipped ambulance & 24x7 Health Centre)

&

the administration should call Aishvarya's parents to come and dedicate this ambulance to entire JNU community, as a tribute to the departed soul.

Please pen down your thoughts/signature below ...
(Please write your current or past affiliation to JNU too.)

  4. I do not think we need a siganture campaign for that !

Fist of all - hardly anyone would mind that.
And second its easy to focus on unnecessary activism once the main goals have been achieved

I'd suggest that use the activism for a number of other pertinent causes that have bothered us in the past.

Suggections : Eye wash sations outside labs , regular psychological consultation of students etc

  6. Yes, it can be and should be dedicated in the name of Aishvarya. And why not? His sad demise only has rang a alarm bell to all of us. But for his demise, JNU would have been happy with a taxi as a ambulance.

Moreover, I do not agree "completely" with one of the comment on the this blog. It says "...main goals have been achieved.. Bindass Baba"

True, one of the goal related to better health service has been achieved. However, there are number of health related issues in JNU which require serious attention.

Wouldn't be it good, that we extend this effort for ensure better healthy environmental for "ALL" JNU community (including plants, birds, animals etc)

  8. Yes it should be. What the asshole political parties could not do despite repeated fake demands and promises in and around elections, this boys has done in his death. But the shameless bastards are not backing off from claimng it to be their prize... in the end students have finally got 24x7 health center facilities which is very essential.

  9. By doing this we can feel the existence of Aishvarya among us.

There is no alternative of own son, but inviting his parents will make them feel understand that they have so many sons.

Thnaks a ton for this proposal

  20. its not about JNU getting some facilities from the death of the departed soul......
its about dedicating the ambulance.and yes it should be done.......its least which can be done by the univesity for him..and esp. for his parents.......

  21. I fully agree to this!! I would also like to add that having an ambulance is a basic necessity and hence must be provided!!!!!! Not only JNU, but all other institutions also should take it as an eye opener and have a dedicated ambulance 24*7 in their respective campuses.
